Vegetarian World

I want to make the world a vegetarian world.
Would that be enough to change the destiny of the souls?
It would improve a lot. Less horrible karmas to suffer. Less animals in anxiety.
What is missing then to make the world a better place?
If people eat food without karma. Food that has been offered to god?
How does that work?
Well you remember that you did not create the food and that you had to get some vegetables etc to cook. That is also karma. Plants also have feelings. But if you offer the food you made to god and ask him to give you intelligence to use the strength you get from eating the offered food in his service, then there is no karmic reaction.
What is the prove of that?
Well in the classic Bhagavat Gita lord Krishna says that those who eat without offering their food only eat sin.
But then a meat eater may think that he can offer his fish and meat As well.
NO , that is wrong. Krishna Has told us to only offer with love vegetarian items such as salads, fruits, grains, water etc.
He does not want you to kill animals.
Wow that means we can eat without worry?
Yes with joy and with giving your thanks again and again.
And eat with your family and if possible invite a person hungry to join the meal.
And don’t forget to use as natural ingredients for cooking as you can get.
Krishna doesn’t like it when we poison mother earth with chemicals.
That is not so easy.
May be not easy but worth your time. What you neglect today you pay tomorrow. Pesticides and chemical fertilizers do not permit that you stay healthy.
There is a lot to learn in life.
Wonderful, there is a saying that you start growing old when you stop learning more. So keep learning that keeps you very young and progressive.
Join the spoon revolution.
Yes, the karma free food Spoon revolution!
But how do I offer my food in practice?
Offer it from your heart to the Lord or learn how a more traditional offering is made.
You can also be grateful for every bite of nourishing offered food. Because it is called Prasadam in India which means mercy.
And there are so many prayers in the world to say thanks for the food.
I would like to know what people pray to say thank you to God for the food.
Well let us try to make a collection from people all over the world.
I know the way they say thank you in Bengal.
“sarira avidya-jal jodendriya tahe kal
jive phele visaya-sagore
ta'ra madhye jihwa ati, lobhamoya sudurmati
ta'ke jeta kathina samsare
krsna boro doyamoya, koribare jihwa jaya
swa-prasad-anna dilo bhai
sei annamrta pao, radha-krsna-guna gao
preme dako caitanya-nitai ”
Translation : This material body is a lump of ignorance and the senses are a network of paths leading to death. We have fallen into this ocean of material sense enjoyment. Of all the senses the tongue is the most difficult to control and is always very greedy to taste things.
But Krsna is so merciful that he gives us His prasada, the remnants from His own mouth, to help us conquer the tongue. This prasada is full of nectar. Take this prasada and glorify Radha and Krsna. With love call for the help of Caitanya-Nitai.

Wow that is a nice prayer. Does anyone know other prayers please send them to us to share with all.
And eating such food actually helps to be happy and to control the mind quite a bit.
Sometimes there are vegetarian feasts in temples and on vegetarian festivals.
That is wonderful and cooking classes as well from the people of the spoon revolution.
Yes , these are all great ideas to make the world better. It is not difficult . You just have to give your big YES to karma free food.
We will talk more very soon here on the karma free blog to share with others.
